A New Age

A long way forward in time from now, I think,
There will a new world filled with joy to the brink.
A new age of people who'd rather not waste their  time on ego,
Rather than thinking of why to waste it on loved ones and let them go.

I think of a time where all can finally enjoy the rain,
Smell the falling drops of water, the mud, forgetting their pain.
Where everything is beautiful, love flourishes and thrives,
Where in every street, nook and corner a merry melody jives.

Where everything happens as it should, everything is right,
Where the nights don't seem that dark and the day seems very bright.
Where a guy and a girl just fall in love with each other, no other,
Will ever fall in love with either of them, nobody will bother.

Where radioactive will be the happiness, in this new age,
No bombs, no explosives, death will only be natural, or, of old age.
People would give way to each other not because of competition,
But because of courtesy in their hearts, their greater ambition.

Where people will be mindful of each other's feelings, their tears,
Their sadness, grief, despair, hurt, second by second, along the years.
Where people shall finally grow together, not independently,
Where they will finally mean the words, 'Yours Truly'.

Where children would be playing in the meadows with toys,
Playing together happily, whether it be beautiful girls or naughty boys.
Their parents watching from afar with peace, no worries, or fear,

For there will be a new age, radioactive with happiness, in this world here.
